UGANDA VISA APPLICATION

TOURIST VISA
  1. Confirmation Page. Please fill out the online application form on the Ugandan Embassy’s website http://www.ugandavisapassport.org/uganda-embassy-dc-visa-application-form/
    Once completed, you will receive a confirmation by email and you must print the confirmation page and submit that to MPS with the supporting documents listed below.
  2. Original, signed United States of America passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
  3. Passport-type photographs: 2
  4. Copy of International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever.
  5. Copy of purchased round trip tickets or itinerary (Applicant’s name and confirmation number must be on itinerary).

BUSINESS VISA

  2. Original, signed United States of America passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
  3. Passport-type photographs: 2
  4. Copy of purchased round trip tickets or itinerary (Applicant’s name and confirmation number must be on itinerary).
  5. Copy of International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever.
  6. A business letter from either the sending company in the US or sponsoring company in Uganda. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to the Embassy of Uganda, and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above). Business letters from US companies should adhere to the following guidelines:
    • Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
    • State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Uganda.
    • Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (ie. one year multiple entry business visa).
    • Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.
  7. A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in Uganda. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to “The Embassy of Uganda, Visa Section”, and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above). The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
          • Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
          • State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Uganda.
          • Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (ie. a one year multiple entry business visa)

BORDERLESS VISA

  2. Original, signed United States of America passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
  3. Passport-type photographs: 2. Must be taken with white background and must not have glasses, caps, scarf.
  4. Copy of International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever.
  5. Copy of purchased round trip tickets or itinerary (Applicant’s name and confirmation number must be on itinerary).
  6. The East African visa allows entry to the Republic of Kenya, the Republic of Rwanda, and the Republic of Uganda for tourism over a period of 90 days. Traveler must enter the region from the country that issued the visa and move within the two other countries.
