KAZAKHSTAN VISA APPLICATION

TOURIST VISA
Kazakhstan tourist visa is not required for citizens of United States of America for a stay up to 15 days.
if the term of your stay in Kazakhstan is less than 15 days. If for any reason you are planning to stay longer than 15 days, please apply for tourist visa with extended duration of stay (one tab down on the left).
  1. One visa application form. Kazakhstan Visa Application for Citizens of United States of America
  2. Original, signed United States of America passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
  3. Passport-type photograph: 1. Photo size MUST be 2 in. x 2 in. and taken within the last 6 months.
  4. Copy of round trip tickets or itinerary (Applicant’s name must be on itinerary)
  5. Copy of confirmed hotel reservations (Applicant’s name must be on Hotel Reservation).
Additional requirements for applicants of Kazakh origin
      • Applicants of Kazakh origin must submit proof that their citizenship has been formally relinquished through the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Washington DC.
Additional requirements for minors
      • Application form. The application form must be signed by both parents.
      • Birth certificate. A copy of the applicant’s birth certificate.
      • Parents’ passport copies. A copy of the information pages of both parents’ signed passports.
      • Letter of consent. A letter of consent addressed to the Embassy of Kazakhstan, signed by both patents and specifying who will be traveling with the child, the purpose of the trip, dates of travel, places to be visited, and the names and addresses of any contacts in Kazakhstan.
      • Renunciation certificate. Parents of Kazakh origin are required to provide proof of renunciation of Kazakh citizenship.

All foreign citizen must register at the local Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan or at the hotel within 72 hours upon arrival to Kazakhstan.

BUSINESS VISA
  1. One visa application form. Kazakhstan Visa Application for Citizens of United States of America
  2. Original, signed United States of America passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
  3. Passport-type photograph: 1. Photo size MUST be 2 in. x 2 in. and taken within the last 6 months.
  4. A business letter from the sending company in the US. The letter should be printed on the company letterhead stationery, addressed to “The Consulate of Kazakhstan, Visa Section”, and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above). The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
         • Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
         • State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Kazakhstan.
         • Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (ie. a one year multiple entry business visa).
         • Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.
