BELARUS VISA APPLICATION

TOURIST VISA
  1. One visa application form. Belarus Visa Application for Citizens of United States of America
  2. Original, signed United States of America passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
  3. Passport-type photograph: 1
  4. Health insurance. As of July 1, 2014, Belarus requires proof of international health insurance specifically covering travel to Belarus and indicating the validity of this coverage (with a minimum medical coverage of $13,500 USD; EUR 10,000).
  5. Tourist Voucher. Copy of tourist voucher (invitation) issued by tourist company or hotel in Belarus approved by the Ministry of Tourism. Tourist vouchers are only acceptable if applicant is staying 10 days or less.
  6. Petition Letter. If applicant is staying longer than 10 days in Belarus, they must go through their travel agency and obtain a petition letter from them with the copy of the agreement with the agency.
Additional required documents for minors
Application form. The application form must be signed by both parents.
Birth certificate. A copy of the applicant’s birth certificate.
Parents’ Passport Copies. A copy of the information pages of both parents’ signed passports.
Notarized Letter of Consent. A notarized letter of consent addressed to the respective consulate, signed by both parents, stating who will accompany the traveling minor, is required.

Applicants born in Belarus MUST submit a copy of their Certificate of Renunciation of Citizenship from the Belarusian Embassy.

IMPORTANT: The passport MUST contain at least two blank visa pages for the visa to be issued.

  5. Business Invitation. A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in Belarus. For MULTIPLE ENTRY visas the letter must be ORIGINAL. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to “The Embassy of Belarus, Visa Section”, and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above). Invitation should also accompany ORIGINAL proof of registration of the Belarus company and a copy of the contract between the inviting company and the traveling party.
Applicants born in Belarus MUST submit a copy of their Certificate of Renunciation of Citizenship from the Belarusian Embassy.

  4. Employment Permit. For citizens of migration-secure states upon submission of original application of a Belarusian legal entity and a certified copy by the Belarusian notary copy of a special employment permit issued by the Citizenship and migration service of the Department of Internal Affairs of a Minsk City or a Regional Executive Committee or the relevant confirmation of the Citizenship and migration service, sent directly to the Embassy/Consulate.
